HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY FROM MASSACHUSETTS

Happy Memorial Day and a special thank you to all that have served or are currently serving our great country.

It's another rainy day and I'm thinking it might be time to build an ark.  Enough is enough.  We hibernated today with the fireplace on to take out the chill.  We read, played on the computer and watched TV.

Yesterday, Aunt Donna and I went to visit my Aunt Helen who had a dizzy spell with discomfort and spent a night at the hospital.  They took all the tests and released her but it was scary for all of us and now she has to wait for test results.

Aunt Donna invited us for dinner with kabobs, corn on the cob, salad and grilled asparagus.  Denis ate quickly because he was in the middle of painting her bathroom and he wanted to get it done before it got too late.

We were hoping that the carpenters would finish the bathroom today but as of 5:30 it's a no-show. We're not going to complain, because they're doing the work on an hourly basis and it's going to cost us much, much less than the $10,000 and $5,000 estimates we got.

I'd like to see the sunshine tomorrow, we'll see.  Thank you for stopping in to say hi.
