MASSACHUSETTS VISIT

After a nice visit with my brother in Connecticut, we moved along to Massachusetts to pull into my Aunt Donna's driveway.

There's always plenty of little projects to do when we get here to keep us busy.  She had a tree fall on the house during a wind storm, fortunately, there was little damage but Denis had to replace the cap on the chimney and unbend the gutter.  We had the tree removed and the stump ground but now there's a big bare spot in the middle of the front yard that needs attention.  She had nice new counters installed in the kitchen and we're helping her completely renovate the bathroom.  Everything is going to look very nice when it's all said and done.

Of course, this is the busy season for the painting business and that keeps us on our toes.  Today we had a company meeting that went well.  It's been a difficult to start our outdoor projects because of the rain, day after day.  I'm ready for the some sunshine.

We stopped in to see Denis' nephew JC and his girlfriend Joyce.   They bought a nice house and are working hard fixing it up.  We also got together with friends, Ron & Lisa that we haven't seen in ages.  They had a family get together for smoked brisket to celebrate their son's confirmation.

Aunt Donna's new counters

Just realized I don't have pictures of Aunt Donna and family.  I'll have to take some this weekend. Hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day.  Thanks for stopping in to say hi.
