Peter's Pond - Sandwich, MA

Spent a few weeks with dad and visiting Denis' mom.  Dad failed his second road test and my brother, Ken, had the opportunity to be his sponsor this time.  You're not going to believe this, but the DMV said he can retake it and dad wants to try again.  Well, I'm not taking him again and neither is Ken.  Jeannine, Denis' mom, fell at home and the ambulance took her to the ER and gave her a CAT scan.  They found water on the brain and did an operation the next day.  She's home now and doing great.

Christi is going to Australia but before heading out she came to Massachusetts and did an interior painting job with her dad (smart girl, extra cash for her trip).

Hercules Letendre RIP 6/14/2003 - 7/29/2012

After all that, we decided to get out of town and that's why we're here at Cape Cod.  Arrived yesterday and Hercules was out-of-sorts.  He didn't want to eat and was breathing funny.  This started around 3PM.  Around 5PM he fell out of his chair and couldn't stand up.  His breathing was terrible, we put him in his bed and sat with him on the floor, petting and trying to soothe him but I knew he was dying.  He suffered three seizures and died around 7PM.  Hercules was only 9 years old and I'm so sad.  This morning, we brought him to a crematorium and will get his ashes at the end of the week.  When we get back to Quebec, we're going to put Pugsey and Hercules to rest side-by-side.  No more dogs for me .... it hurts too much!
