Went to mass at Holy Trinity Monastery this morning and we were greeted by the resident peacocks with open plumes. The monastery is run by the Benedictine monks and has a small chapel, oriental garden, museum, art gallery, bookstore/gift shop and bird sanctuary. It's a friendly community and for many years the same Mexican lady brings donuts and coffee for a social get-together after mass. The monks bake Benedictine breads and other goodies for sale at the store. We opted for a banana nut bread.

Love the broasted chicken there at the Gas Station Junction express, but be sure to order it fresh and wait for it.
