Getting stuff done

With the cool temps, cloudy skies and wind this was a perfect day to get things done.  I have to admit that Denis did most of the work today.  He helped Tony install a bay door, fixed our leaky faucet and made a bunch of necessary phone calls.  Making phone calls from this park is a challenge.  We have 3G with an intermittent signal, I had better luck using the Google phone on my computer.

I had a good yoga and weight bearing workout this morning because the cough is almost non-existent.... yahoo!  I did some laundry and house cleaning then visiting with Mieke for a while.  She was telling me about the volunteers at the park who do so much for the Mexican orphans.  They make quilts and blankets, collect food, clothes, toiletries, toys, etc. which are all donated to the children.  Tony and Mieke went for a tour and it tugged at their heart strings.  They donated their RV sofa to the  daycare center.  This is a safe place where the children can come to get a meal.  Those volunteers are extra special people.  If you want to make a donation, stop by Pilot Knob RV Resort and visit the community center.
