LAST DAY IN SOLDOTNA, ALASKA

Sadly, this is our last night at Gail's place.  I washed a couple loads, made two loaves of bread and did some house cleaning.   Denis filled up the fresh water tanks and washed the car.  Gail had to go into town to buy a new hot water tank for her rental property.  So we all had a busy morning.

Later in the day, Gail joined us at Hall Lake to do some kayaking.  We were the only ones on the lake and it was sunny, peaceful and relaxing.

We played bumper kayaks

Very pretty yellow flowers on lily pads - we saw a few duck but no loons

We ended the day with a BBQ picnic on the back deck.

That's all folks!  Thanks for stopping in.

  2. It's hard to say goodbye but you have such great memories. That's one of the reasons I love blogging. I can always go back and reread and remember the good times we've had.
