Sorry I haven't posted since last Sunday. We've been doing nothing, no chiropractic adjustments, no massages, no happy hours with friends, no hiking, biking, kayaking, nope, nothing, nada. Now that I look back on the week, I can't remember what we did to occupy our days but whatever we did, it wasn't stressful or hectic.
We talked to friends and family on the phone, took walks every day around the park, read our books, watched a movie in the evening, answered emails, picked oranges for fresh squeezed juice, practiced yoga/taichi and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds.
We drove over to Quartzsite for a day and bought a large nativity flag for $7.00 (that was a good bargain because they regularly sell for $23). I bought a piece of wood for $16 that Denis stained and bevelled into a 4-pot colorful herb planter. I'll take a photo after I plant the herbs and you can see what a nice job Denis did.

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping in for a visit.
Hey guys, good for you to do nothing; that's what retirement is all about, If you still in Pilot Knob, be sure to say hello to our friends Dave and Louise. They have a yapppeee dog and a huge fifth wheel with plate from Alberta and they like to float the Ontario flag as they are from there. Say hello for us!
ReplyDeleteStill enjoying San Felipe but looking forward to move on the 30th. Going to Ensenada to meet the rest of the gang!
Hugs and Love
