Daniel had quite the adventure flying home to Quebec. He ended up spending two nights in Chicago waiting for a flight to Montreal and then on to Quebec. He spent hours and hours in line at the airport for ticket changes and fighting for hotel accommodations. His people skills paid off and he stayed two nights free at the Radisson (in a suite, no less) and got vouchers for food plus shuttle service to and from the hotel and airport. Thankfully, he only missed one day of work and I bet he's very happy to be in his own bed tonight.
As for us, we're recuperating from all the running around we did while he was visiting us. Yesterday our big event was going to church, doing some laundry and baking bread. Today we did even less. Denis had a lot of phone calls to make and I did some much needed house cleaning. We had plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine and take a 2-mile walk around the park.
Thanks for stopping in.
